Welcome
to rt66.ath.cx
This is my
place on the internet where I can
document, share and learn
more about FreeBSD.
I use
different operating systems such as OpenBSD, NetBSD and
FreeBSD,
but I focus much more on freebsd because it's a user friendly OS. I
only
use
openbsd for my firewall because of robustness in terms of security, and
netbsd was my
first unix shell account at sdf.lonestar.org since 2002 until
now still active. For the last few years freebsd still rocks
for me and I'm so impressed for making
life so easy as well as installing applications through ports
and
recompiling kernels. I started
documenting all my stuff for personal use
and for others who may find this site usefull. By
then I use freebsd regularly as my
primary operating system for my projects and daily use not windoze.
If you are new to FreeBSD I would
also
recommend checking out
the FreeBSD
Handbook and also the excellent book written by Greg Lehey The
Complete FreeBSD. |
